Nutella Bliss Balls

Jump To Recipe
If you’ve made a batch of healthy Nutella and wondering what to do with it, how about these delicious and versatile bliss balls? Also known as date balls, and energy bites, the recipes are quite adaptable! The stars of any bliss balls recipe are the dates and nuts or seeds. The rest is all up to you or what you have in your pantry. Especially these days with a worldwide pandemic, it’s not easy to get all the ingredients we desire. So if you have dates, or even other dried fruit, and nuts or seeds, or a nut or seed butter, then you can get creative based on what you have available.
In the recipe below I added some hazelnuts to the dates and healthy Nutella to give it more texture and crunch, and some heart-healthy oats for the fiber. The rest is all just for flavor and can be left out or changed up to suit your taste. I’m a big fan of adding orange to chocolate, so orange zest is an option for you. You can also leave the oats out and add more nuts or shredded coconut for a grain-free option.
