We use this recipe for both the Green Monster Smoothie and the Green Smoothie Bowl at Crumbs. It’s so delicious, amazing for breakfast or a healthy sweet snack in the afternoon. Increase the coconut milk or add a bit of water if you prefer your smoothie to be drinkable rather than spoonable. I to drink a green juice, but when it comes to smoothies, bowls are always my preference.
Feel free to use a different milk you prefer, the coconut milk helps make it even more creamy. It’s really sweet with the combination of banana and date. And topping it with granola makes it extra special. I recommend you try it with the ginger, really makes the flavor more interesting.
